REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

CAUTIONWhen battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery.

Pry out control switches from door trim panel. Disconnect harness connector. To install, reverse removal procedure.

CAUTIONWhen installing window glass, ensure window glass correctly seats in window glass mounting brackets.
  1. Remove front door trim panel, interior molding, watershield and interior weatherstrip. Position forward front window regulator-to-window securing bolt at bottom of access hole in door panel. Loosen 2 regulator-to-window securing bolts. DO NOT remove bolts. Hold window glass in place while lowering window regulator to bottom of door panel. Remove window glass from door.
  2. Disconnect door latch harness connector. Remove anti-theft shield Torx screw and nut. Position anti-theft shield aside. Release door handle actuating rod clip. Remove securing nut and door lock cylinder. Remove 3 door latch Torx screws. Remove 2 bolts and 1 nut securing inner door support bracket.
  3. Remove bolts from door inner support and remove door inner support. Remove window regulator securing bolts and remove window regulator. Remove window motor-to-window regulator securing screws and remove window motor from window regulator. To install, reverse removal procedure.
  1. Remove rear door trim panel. Lower window glass until window glass spacer bracket is visible through access hole in door panel. Using a punch, remove center portion of window glass spacer bracket, then remove outer portion of spacer bracket.
  2. Position window glass at top of window opening and secure window glass in place. Remove inner door panel support securing bolts and position inner door panel support aside. Remove nuts, bolts and screw securing window regulator. Remove window regulator and disconnect harness connector.
  3. Remove window motor-to-regulator securing screws and remove window motor from window regulator. To install, reverse removal procedure.
