- CHECK DOOR CONTROL SWITCH ASSY Disconnect the door control switch connector on the passenger door. Check the continuity of each terminal of the connector, when each switch is operated, as shown in the table. When the ignition switch is ON, the master switch (door ECU) send a remote switch signal for the passenger's seat to the passenger door ECU. Then the passenger door ECU drives the power window motor for the passenger seat.
Note. The power window system has a function with large-scale body multiplex communications. First of all, inspect the communication function depending on the "how to proceed with troubleshooting", and check there is no abnormality in the communication system. Then, finally proceed with the troubleshooting. Also, if the power window system has a malfunction in the jam protection function, the AUTO operations are prohibited. Because of this, confirm that the diagnosis code is normal before the troubleshooting.

- CHECK WIRE HARNESS Disconnect the master switch and D17 ECU connectors. Check the continuity between the connector terminals of master switch and ECU. When the driver's door is held in the locked state for 1.5 seconds or more via the key operation with no key inserted in the ignition switch, the driver door ECU drives the power window motor at the same time when a signal is transmitted to the passenger door ECU. And then, the passenger door ECU drives the power window motor.
Note. The power window system has a function with large-scale body multiplex communications. First of all, inspect the communication function depending on the "how to proceed with troubleshooting", and check there is no abnormality in the communication system. Then, finally proceed with the troubleshooting. Also, if the power window system has a malfunction in the jam protection function, the AUTO operations are prohibited. Because of this, confirm that the diagnosis code is normal before the troubleshooting.
Unless the driver's door is opened then closed within 43 seconds after the ignition switch is turned to OFF from ON, the driver door ECU supplies the power source to the master switch at the same time when a signal is transmitted to the passenger door ECU. And then, the passenger door ECU supplies the power to the regulator switch.

First of all, inspect the communication function depending on the "how to proceed with troubleshooting", and check there is no abnormality in the communication system.
