1. PERFORM ACCUMULATOR ZERO DOWN (See «BLEEDING»(ref-282988-S03980551392008041400000) )
2. REMOVE ABS MOTOR RELAY Remove the 2 ABS motor relays with the ignition switch off in order to disable brake control. NOTE: If the pump motor operates while air remains inside the brake reservoir tube No.1 hose, air will enter the actuator, and this will make bleeding the brakes more difficult. NOTE: After the brake actuator assembly has been replaced, remove the ABS motor relay before bleeding the brakes.

4. REMOVE FRONT FENDER TO COWL SIDE SEAL RH

11. REMOVE BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER RESERVOIR ASSEMBLY Disconnect the warning switch connector. Separate the brake actuator hose from the clamp. Remove the 2 clips and brake actuator hose. Remove the 2 clips and 2 reservoir tubes from the brake master cylinder reservoir assembly. Remove the 2 bolts and the brake master cylinder reservoir assembly.
12. REMOVE FRONT WHEEL RH
13. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY WITH BRAKE ACTUATOR BRACKET ASSEMBLY Remove the bolt and the brake actuator bracket No. 7 with clamp. Using SST, disconnect the 6 brake tubes from the actuator assembly with brake actuator bracket assembly. SST 09023-00101 Use tags or make a memo to identify the places to reconnect. Using SST, disconnect the front brake No. 8 tube. SST 09023-00101 Release the lock lever and disconnect the actuator connector. Remove the bolt from the brake tube bracket. Remove the 3 nuts and brake actuator assembly with brake actuator bracket assembly. NOTE: Do not damage the brake tubes.

1. REMOVE BRAKE ACTUATOR ASSEMBLY Remove the 2 nuts and brake actuator assembly from the actuator bracket. Remove the 2 brake actuator bolt holders.

INSTALLATION

1. INSTALL REAR SPEED SENSOR Install the rear speed sensor with the bolt. Torque: 8.0 N*m (82 kgf*cm, 71 in.*lbf) NOTE: Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip. Install the sensor harness clamps with the 2 bolts to the body and the shock absorber bracket. Torque: 5.0 N*m (51 kgf*cm, 44 in.*lbf) NOTE: Do not twist the sensor wire when installing the sensor. Push in the sensor wire harness with the grommet. NOTE: When installing the grommet, do not pull the sensor wire. Only pull the grommet. Connect the rear speed sensor connector.
2. INSTALL REAR WHEEL Torque: 103 N*m (1,050 kgf*cm, 76 ft.*lbf)

HINT

1. Do not use a dropped or damaged yaw rate sensor.
2. Prevent foreign matter from attaching between the yaw rate sensor bracket and body.
3. Confirm that the sensor direction is correct.
