Removal & Installation (Rear)

1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Cover screwdriver tip with tape and pry off inside door handle bezel. Carefully pry up armrest base panel assembly and disconnect electrical connectors. Remove courtesy light. If equipped with rear side curtain, pry off side curtain assembly. If not equipped with rear side curtain, pry off door frame garnish.
2. On all models, remove 6 door trim panel screws. Carefully pry door trim panel away from door to release retainer clips. Disconnect 2 cables from inside handle. Remove inside door handle and tweeter speaker.
3. If equipped with rear side curtain, remove rear curtain subassembly. On all models, remove 2 clips and door frame garnish. Remove door speaker. Remove door ECU. Remove service hole cover, door belt moulding, door window rear guide and rear door glass run. Drill out 3 door glass run rivets. Remove door glass run with door window rear guide subassembly. Insert a rag inside door panel to avoid scratching glass. Raise glass until 2 bolts appear in service hole. Remove bolts and pull glass upward to remove.
4. Disconnect window motor harness connector. Remove 4 bolts securing window motor and regulator assembly. Remove assembly through service hole. Place mating marks on window regulator motor bracket and regulator gear. Using Torx wrench, remove 3 screws and motor. To install, reverse removal procedure.
