CHANGE A/C FILTER SERVICE REMINDER RESET - PROCEDURE 1

If CHANGE A/C FILTER appears on multi-information display, the passenger compartment A/C filter must be changed as soon as possible. After replacing A/C filter, push and hold OFF button for front air conditioning controls for more than 4 seconds. If A/C FILTER RESET appears on display and a tone sounds, service interval has been reset.

TPMS RESET - PROCEDURE 2

Note. This system requires initializing after changing tires or wheels or after rotating the tires. Be sure to adjust the tire pressure to the specified value before initialization.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.
  2. Press and hold the tire pressure warning reset switch until the "Pressure Initial" indicator comes on.
  3. Drive the vehicle at 19 mph (30 km/h) or more to complete the initialization of the skid control ECU. NOTE: If the "Pressure Initial" indicator does not come on, perform the initialization again (With the ignition switch off, perform steps 2 and 3 ).
  4. Check that the indicator is not displayed after driving the vehicle for approximately 60 minutes.
  5. After initialization is completed, the skid control ECU monitors the tire pressure by using the wheel speed sensors.

TPMS RESET - PROCEDURE 4

Note. Initialization is NOT required if re-inflating tires to the currently specified tire pressure.

The system will need to be initialized when tires are rotated; tires are inflated to a specification different from currently logged pressures; tire pressure sensor and/or tire pressure monitor ECU are replaced. See TPM Initialization . When a tire pressure sensor and/or tire pressure monitor ECU are replaced, the sensor IDs must be memorized by the tire pressure monitor ECU prior to system initialization. See Sensor Registration .

TPMS RESET - PROCEDURE 5

TPMS RESET - PROCEDURE 6

Note. When the tire pressure warning light does not go off, or when it comes on during driving, inflate tires to specification. Adjusting the tire inflation pressure will turn off the warning light after a few minutes.

Note. It is necessary to register the transmitter (tire pressure sensor) ID in the tire pressure warning ECU when replacing the tire pressure warning valve and transmitter and/or tire pressure warning ECU. Before registration: In case of tire pressure warning ECU replacement. Read the registered transmitter IDs that are stored in the old ECU using the Techstream and note them down. If reading stored transmitter IDs is impossible due to malfunctions of components such as the tire pressure warning antenna and receiver, remove the tires from the wheels and check the IDs located on the tire pressure warning valves and transmitters. In case of tire pressure warning valve and transmitter replacement. When replacing the tire pressure warning valves and transmitters, note down the IDs written on the tire pressure warning valves and transmitters.

Note. If the ID registration step is not completed within 300 seconds, ID registration will be canceled.

  1. Set the air pressure of all tires to the specified value(s).
  2. Turn the power switch OFF.
  3. Connect the Techstream to DLC3.
  4. Turn the engine switch ON and the Techstream ON.
  5. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Utility / ID Registration.
  6. Perform the procedure displayed on the Techstream.
  7. Enter the following menus: Chassis / Tire Pressure Monitor / Data List.
  8. Read the "ID Tire Inflation Pressure" values.
  9. Confirm that the tire pressure data of all tires (except the spare tire) is displayed on the Techstream screen.
