PROCEDURE

  1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY - IG POWER SOURCE) Disconnect the K65 air conditioning control assembly connector. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.   4. REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING CONTROL ASSEMBLY Replace the air conditioning control assembly. Refer to «REMOVAL [04/2013 - ]»(ref-665718-S12000611432014102400000) HINT: Since the air conditioning control assembly cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the air conditioning control assembly with a new or known good one and check that the condition returns to normal. OK Air conditioning control assembly operation returns to normal. If DTC B1423/23 and B14B8 are output at the same time, troubleshoot for DTC B1423/23 first.

  1. CHECK FOR AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM LEAK Install a manifold gauge set. Recover the refrigerant from the air conditioning system using a refrigerant recovery unit. Evacuate the air conditioning system and check that vacuum can be maintained in it. OK Vacuum can be maintained in the air conditioning system. HINT: If vacuum cannot be maintained in the air conditioning system, refrigerant may be leaking from it. In this case, it is necessary to repair or replace the leaking part of the air conditioning system. Result Proceed to OK NG Result: 2 NG See step 7 Result: 1 OK See step 2

  4. REPLACE COOLER EXPANSION VALVE Replace the cooler expansion valve with a new or known good one. Refer to «DISASSEMBLY [04/2013 - ]»(ref-665718-S09119252702014102400000) HINT: Replace the cooler expansion valve with a new or known good one because the cooler expansion valve is either stuck or clogged. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.
