  1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
  2. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL Using a clip remover, remove the 11 clips and cool air intake duct seal.
  3. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ASSEMBLY Using a screwdriver, turn the pin 90 degrees and remove the 2 pin hold clips. HINT: Tape the screwdriver tip before use. Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side. Put protective tape around the front bumper assembly. Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips Remove the 2 radiator grille protectors. Remove the bolt and 10 screws. Disengage the 5 claws and disconnect the front bumper assembly (Scheme 8) HINT: Use the same procedures for the RH side and LH side. Disconnect the headlight washer hose. (w/ headlight cleaner system) Disconnect the connector and remove the front bumper assembly.

  9. REMOVE NO. 4 ENGINE ROOM WIRE Disengage the 9 clamps and remove the No. 4 engine room wire.
  10. REMOVE HEADLIGHT HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Remove the headlight hose.
  11. REMOVE HEADLIGHT CLEANER HOSE (w/ Headlight Cleaner System) Disengage the 5 clamps and remove the headlight cleaner hose.
  12. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE PROTECTOR Disengage the 13 claws and remove the radiator grille protector.
  13. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE MOLDING Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips. Disengage the 8 claws and remove the radiator grille molding.
  14. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE Using a clip remover, remove the 2 clips. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the radiator grille.
  15. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) HINT: When removing the emblem, heat the vehicle body and emblem using a heat light. Heating temperature: HEATING TEMPERATURE Item Temperature Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) Emblem 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) NOTE: Do not heat the vehicle body and emblem excessively. Put protective tape around the radiator grille emblem. Insert a piano wire between the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem. Tie objects that can serve as handles (for example, wooden blocks) to both wire ends. Pull the piano wire and scrape off the double-sided tape that holds the molding to the vehicle body. NOTE: If reusing the radiator grille emblem, take care not to damage the radiator grille emblem. Be careful not to damage the vehicle body. Remove the radiator grille emblem.
  16. REMOVE RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/ Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) Remove the 2 spring nuts. Disengage the claw and remove the radiator grille emblem.
  17. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER EXTENSION MOUNTING BRACKET Remove the 2 screws. Disengage the 2 claws and remove the front bumper extension mounting bracket.
  18. REMOVE LOWER FRONT BUMPER COVER Disengage the 2 claws and remove the lower front bumper cover.
  19. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER GUARD COVER LH Disengage the 4 claws and remove the front bumper guard cover LH.

  21. REMOVE LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE Using a cutter or other similar tool, separate the 2 heat-welded portions. Disengage the 14 claws and remove the lower radiator grille.
  22. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER RH Remove the screw. Using a clip remover, remove the clip. Disengage the 6 claws and remove the front spoiler cover RH.
  23. REMOVE FRONT SPOILER COVER LH Using a clip remover, remove the clip. Disengage the 5 claws and remove the front spoiler cover LH.
  24. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER PROTECTOR Remove the 2 front bumper protectors.
  25. REMOVE FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER Remove the 4 front fender liner retainers.
  26. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER COVER
  27. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER Remove the front bumper energy absorber.
  28. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT Disengage the 2 clips and disconnect the radiator support opening cover. Remove the bolt and disconnect the cooler (ambient temp sensor) thermistor. Remove the 6 bolts and front bumper reinforcement.
  29. REMOVE FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH Remove the screw. Disengage the claw and remove the front bumper side retainer LH.

  1. INSTALL RADIATOR SUPPORT OPENING COVER
  2. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER RH
  3. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER SIDE RETAINER LH
  4. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER REINFORCEMENT Install the front bumper reinforcement with the 6 bolts. Torque: 70 N*m (714 kgf*cm, 52 ft.*lbf) Install the cooler (ambient temp sensor) thermistor with the bolt. Install the radiator support opening cover with the 2 clips.
  5. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER ENERGY ABSORBER
  6. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER COVER
  7. INSTALL FRONT FENDER LINER RETAINER
  8. INSTALL FRONT BUMPER PROTECTOR Install 2 new front bumper protectors.
  9. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER LH
  10. INSTALL FRONT SPOILER COVER RH
  11. INSTALL LOWER RADIATOR GRILLE Install the lower radiator grille with the 14 claws. Using a soldering gun, install the lower radiator grille at the 2 portions (Scheme 26)

  17. INSTALL RADIATOR GRILLE EMBLEM (w/o Dynamic Radar Cruise Control System) HINT: When installing the radiator grille emblem, heat the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem using a heat light. Heating temperature: HEATING TEMPERATURE Item Temperature Vehicle Body 40 to 60°C (104 to 140°F) Emblem 20 to 30°C (68 to 86°F) NOTE: Do not heat the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem excessively. Clean the vehicle body surface. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body surface. Remove the double-sided tape from the vehicle body. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner. Clean the radiator grille emblem. (If reusing the radiator grille emblem) Using a heat light, heat the radiator grille emblem. Remove the double-sided tape from the radiator grille emblem. Wipe off any tape adhesive residue with cleaner. Apply new double-sided tape to the radiator grille emblem. Install the radiator grille emblem. Using a heat light, heat the vehicle body and radiator grille emblem. Remove the peeling paper from the face of the radiator grille emblem. HINT: After removing the peeling paper, keep the exposed adhesive free from foreign matter. Install the radiator grille emblem.
