Air Conditioning (Diagnostic Codes & Circuit Tests): Other Lexus GS III facelift

PROCEDURE

  1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Select the items below in the Data List, and read the displays on the Techstream. Data List / Air Conditioner: Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Air Mix Servo Targ Pulse(P) (Air Mix Pulse-P) Passenger side air mix servomotor target pulse / Min.: 0, Max.: 255 Customized value will be displayed - OK The display is as specified in the normal condition. Result: NG A OK (Checking from the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE) B OK (Checking from the DTC) C C --> REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING AMPLIFIER B --> PROCEED TO NEXT CIRCUIT INSPECTION SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE A: Go to next step
  2. REPLACE AIR MIX CONTROL SERVOMOTOR HINT: Since the servomotor cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the servomotor with a normal one and check that the condition returns to normal. OK Same problem does not occur. OK --> END NG --> REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS

  2. REPLACE AIR INLET CONTROL SERVOMOTOR HINT: Since the servomotor cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the servomotor with a normal one and check that the condition returns to normal. OK Same problem does not occur. OK --> END NG --> REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS

  2. REPLACE AIR OUTLET CONTROL SERVOMOTOR HINT: Since the servomotor cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the servomotor with a normal one and check that the condition returns to normal. OK Same problem does not occur. OK --> END NG --> REPLACE AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS

  2. REPLACE COOL AIR BY-PASS SERVOMOTOR HINT: Since the servomotor cannot be inspected while it is removed from the vehicle, replace the servomotor with a normal one and check that the condition returns to normal. OK Same problem does not occur. OK --> END NG --> REPAIR AIR CONDITIONING HARNESS
