REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery. |
- Remove the screw.
- Remove the inner rear view mirror cover.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the rear view inner mirror assembly.
- For installation, reverse removal procedure.
- Remove the front door trim panel. See FRONT DOOR TRIM PANEL under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION under «POWER DOOR LOCKS, TRUNK LID & FUEL DOOR RELEASE»(ref-152941) article under DOOR LOCKS & ANTI-THEFT SYSTEMS in ACCESSORIES & EQUIPMENT.
- Remove the door frame garnish by removing the nut. (Scheme 11)
- Remove the tweeter speaker by disconnecting the connector.
- Remove the outside rear view mirror by disconnecting the connector and removing the 3 bolts. For installation, torque the bolts to 48 INCH Lbs. (5.4 N.m).
- For installation, reverse removal procedure.
