  1. CHECK FOR DTC (AUTOMATIC HIGH BEAM SYSTEM) Clear the DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598706-S03836918672014021400000) . Check for DTCs. Refer to «DTC CHECK / CLEAR [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598706-S03836918672014021400000) . OK DTC B124B is not output.   4. REPLACE DRIVING SUPPORT ECU ASSEMBLY Replace the driving support ECU assembly with a new or known good one. Refer to «REMOVAL [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598474-S28615027322014021400000) . Check for DTCs.   1. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Main Body / Data List. Read the display on the Techstream. MAIN BODY Tester Display Measurement Item/Range Normal Condition Diagnostic Note Auto High Beam Main Switch Auto high beam switch signal/ON or OFF ON: Auto high beam switch pressed OFF: Auto high beam switch not pressed - OK Normal conditions listed above are displayed.   2. INSPECT AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH Remove the auto high beam switch. Refer to «REMOVAL [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598610-S40388263642014021400000) . Inspect the auto high beam switch. Refer to «INSPECTION [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598610-S22317082122014021400000) . OK Auto high beam switch is normal. NG --> See step 7 OK: Go to next step
  3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH - MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU)) Disconnect the H7 auto high beam switch connector. Disconnect the H10 main body ECU (multiplex network body ECU) connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H7-6 (+B) - H10-17 (AHBI) Always Below 1 ohms H7-6 (+B) - Body ground Always 10 kohms or higher NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: Go to next step
  4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH - BODY GROUND) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition H7-3 (E) - Body ground Always Below 1 ohms NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK --> See step 6
  5. PROCEED TO NEXT SUSPECTED AREA SHOWN IN PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE. Refer to «PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598706-S41482485362014021400000)
  6. REPLACE MAIN BODY ECU (MULTIPLEX NETWORK BODY ECU). Refer to «REMOVAL [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598640-S21213941222014021400000)
  7. REPLACE AUTO HIGH BEAM SWITCH. Refer to «REMOVAL [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598610-S40388263642014021400000)
