  2. READ VALUE USING TECHSTREAM Connect the Techstream to the DLC3. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Turn the Techstream on. Enter the following menus: Body Electrical / HL Auto Leveling / Data List.   3. INSPECT REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY Remove the rear height control sensor sub-assembly. Refer to «REMOVAL [06/2012 - ]»(ref-598610-S02367285222014021400000) .   4. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY - REAR HEIGHT CONTROL SENSOR SUB-ASSEMBLY) Disconnect the A29 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector. Disconnect the Q14 rear height control sensor sub-assembly connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.   1. CHECK COMBINATION METER SYSTEM The circuits that send vehicle speed signals to this system are inspected in the meter section. Refer to «Speed Signal Circuit»(ref-598609-S29310982022014021400000) . During inspection of the meter system, if there is an instruction that indicates to go back to inspections for the lighting system, proceed to the next step. NEXT: Go to next step
  2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HEADLIGHT LEVELING ECU ASSEMBLY - COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY) Disconnect the H14 combination meter assembly connector. Disconnect the A29 headlight leveling ECU assembly connector. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below. Standard Resistance Tester Connection Condition Specified Condition A29-16 (SPDR) - H14-19 (+S) Always Below 1 ohms NG --> REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR OK: Go to next step
  3. INSPECT COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY (OUTPUT WAVEFORM) Check the output waveform. Remove the combination meter assembly with the connector still connected. Connect an oscilloscope to terminal H14-19 (+S) and body ground. Turn the engine switch on (IG). Check the signal waveform according to the condition(s) in the table below. Item Condition Tool setting 5 V/DIV., 20 ms./DIV. Vehicle condition Wheel being rotated OK The waveform is displayed as shown in the illustration. TEXT IN ILLUSTRATION *a Component with harness connected (Combination Meter Assembly) HINT: When the system is functioning normally, one wheel revolution generates 4 pulses.
