REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

in COMMUNICATION DEVICES
- Remove the screw. (Scheme 24)
- Remove the inside rear view mirror cover.
- Disconnect the connector.
- Remove the inside rear view mirror assembly.
- For installation, reverse removal procedure.

Removal
- Using a screwdriver, remove the power window regulator master switch assembly then disconnect the connector. (Scheme 25)
- Using a screwdriver, remove the front door lower frame bracket garnish. (Scheme 26)
- Using a screwdriver, remove front door inside handle bezel plug. (Scheme 27)
- Remove the 2 screws. Using a screwdriver, remove front door trim board sub-assembly. (Scheme 28) Remove the inside handle then disconnect the 2 cables from the front door lock assembly. Disconnect the connector.
- On vehicles without memory, remove the outside rear view mirror sub-assembly. Disconnect the wiring harness of terminals No. 4 and 5 from the connector. (Scheme 29) Using a screwdriver to hold the connector lance up, pull out the wiring harness terminal. Tape the outside rear view mirror body with protection tape. Using a roof molding remover, disengage the clips placed in the lower part of the mirror. (Scheme 30) Pull out the outside rear view mirror.
- On vehicles with memory, remove the outside rear view mirror sub-assembly. Disconnect the wiring harness of terminals No. 3 and 9 from the connector. (Scheme 31) Using a screwdriver to hold the connector lance up, pull out the wiring harness terminal. Tape the outside rear view mirror body with protection tape. Using a roof molding remover, disengage the clips placed in the lower part of the mirror. (Scheme 30) Pull out the outside rear view mirror.

Installation
- Install the outside rear view mirror. Insert the claws placed in the upper part of the backside of the mirror into the actuator hole. (Scheme 32)
- Set the mirror in the actuator.
- Insert the lower portion of the mirror to engage the 2 clips securely.
- Connect the wiring harness terminal to the connector.
- For installation of front door trim board sub-assembly, front door inside handle bezel plug, front door lower frame bracket garnish and power window regulator master switch assembly, reverse the removal procedure.
