Throttle Control Motor & Clutch Assembly
- Disconnect throttle control motor and clutch assembly connector. Measure throttle control motor resistance between appropriate terminals of throttle control motor and clutch assembly connector. See appropriate THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR & CLUTCH ASSEMBLY TERMINAL I.D. table under «THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR & CLUTCH ASSEMBLY»(ref-22514-S12418338592001010300000) . Resistance should be .3-100 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace throttle control motor and clutch assembly. If resistance is as specified, go to next step.
- Measure clutch resistance between appropriate terminals of throttle control motor and clutch assembly connector. See appropriate THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR & CLUTCH ASSEMBLY TERMINAL I.D. table under «THROTTLE CONTROL MOTOR & CLUTCH ASSEMBLY»(ref-22514-S12418338592001010300000) . Resistance should be 4.2-5.2 ohms at 68°F (20°C). If resistance is not as specified, replace throttle control motor and clutch assembly.
