MOTOR TEST
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect window motor harness connector. Using fused jumper wires, connect battery voltage and ground to terminals of motor harness connector. Motor should run.
- Reverse leads. Motor should operate in opposite direction. If operation is not as specified, replace window motor.
MASTER POWER WINDOW SWITCH TEST
Turn ignition off. Disconnect master power window switch harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified switch terminals while operating switch. See appropriate MASTER POWER WINDOW SWITCH CONTINUITY table. (Scheme 1)or (Scheme 2). If continuity is not as specified, replace master power window switch. Retest system.

PASSENGER POWER WINDOW SWITCH TEST
Turn ignition off. Disconnect passenger power window switch harness connector. Using an ohmmeter, check for continuity between specified switch terminals while operating switch. See appropriate PASSENGER POWER WINDOW SWITCH CONTINUITY table. see scheme 3or (Scheme 3). Replace passenger power window switch if continuity is not as specified.
