Inspection

  1. Check the hands free remote control switch for resistance between No. 4 and No. 5 terminals in each switch position.

  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the driver airbag module. (Refer to the «AIRBAG MODULES & CLOCK SPRING»(ref-536085) .
  3. Remove the steering wheel. (Refer to the " «STEERING COLUMN AND SHAFT»(ref-536086-S11460282932013031400000) ")
  4. Remove 2 screws on the steering wheel.
  5. Remove the steering wheel cover (A) after loosening 6 screws.
  6. Remove the hands free switch.
