- Shut off the High Voltage circuit (Refer to «HIGH VOLTAGE SHUTOFF PROCEDURE»(ref-675050-S21464474132014120400000) ).
- Remove the trunk trim (Refer to " «TRUNK TRIM»(ref-675054-S41728884652014120400000) ").
- Remove the inverter power cables (A) by unscrewing the tightening nuts.
- Disconnect the positive (+) terminal (A) from the auxiliary battery.
- Remove HPCU (Refer to «HPCU (HYBRID POWER CONTROL UNIT)»(ref-675059-S32697489462014120400000) ).
- Remove the positive (+) cable (A) from the engine room relay box.
- Remove the under cover (Refer to «ENGINE AND TRANSAXLE ASSEMBLY»(ref-675056-S40856905402014120400000) ).
- Remove front muffler (Refer to «MUFFLER»(ref-675069-S41723667492014120400000) ).
- Remove the power cable from the vehicle by removing the mounting nuts. NOTE: Make a gap for removing nuts (A, B) by lowering the fuel tank after loosening the fuel tank band mounting bolts. (At this time, the fuel tank must be supported with a jack).
Installation

- Installation is reverse of removal. Inverter power cable terminal tightening nut: 7.8 ~ 11.8 N.m (0.8 ~ 1.2kgf.m, 5.8 ~ 8.7 lb-ft) Fuel tank band installation nut: 39.2 ~ 54.0 N.m (4.0 ~ 5.5kgf.m, 28.9 ~ 39.8 lb-ft)
