Bedplate is installed after piston and connecting rod assemblies are installed. Bedplate bolts MUST BE replaced after each use. Install bedplate. Install second from front and second from rear bedplate "P" bolts and tighten these 4 bolts to 62-80 INCH lbs. (7-9 N.m). see scheme 222 Install all other bedplate bolts and tighten bolts to proper specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS.
