TROUBLE SHOOTING
Note. Perform FUNCTIONAL CHECK before proceeding with other trouble shooting checks.
SELF-DIAGNOSTICS
The A/C Control Module (A/CCM), located behind A/C-heater control panel, has self-diagnostic capabilities. A/C-heater control panel can perform on-board diagnostic functions. A/CCM can store up to 5 Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs). If there is a sensor fault, a beep will be heard and ER (error) will be displayed on control panel for 5 seconds, one time during each ignition cycle.
RETRIEVING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES
Note. DTCs can be retrieved and erased using Jaguar Portable Diagnostic Unit (PDU). DTCs can also be retrieved using A/C-heater control panel. PDU diagnosis is more comprehensive than A/C-heater control panel diagnosis.
Note. This procedure must be completed through one complete cycle, steps 1-6). Actuator codes do not equate to system fault codes. DTCs 11, 15 and 21 will cause an audible beep and ER to display. If a code displays with a beep, it is current and still present within system. A code displayed without a beep indicates a fault had occurred but is not present at this time. This may be from an intermittent problem and may reoccur.
- Simultaneously hold AUTO and recirculated air buttons. (Схема №1) Turn ignition on while holding buttons. Display elements should illuminate.
- Press AUTO button. Stored numeric fault code(s) will display. See «DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION»(ref-12062-S36604853462000120700000) table.
- Press face vent mode button to scroll through stored fault codes.
- Simultaneously press face and "R" (heated rear screen) buttons to clear stored fault codes. It may be necessary to repeat for each fault code.
- Press recirculated air button to initiate actuator check (actuator DTCs 20-27). Press fan button to skip actuator check.
- Press fan button to exit fault code check mode.

| (1) When there are no DTCs, wait 30 seconds for system self-diagnostic test to finish. (2) Check for an open or short in motor drive circuit, or a sticking/jammed motor flap. (3) Open or short in potentiometer feed circuit. At times, motor may overrun and set additional codes. Cycling ignition on and off 2 or 3 times may correct problem. (4) Temperatures less than 32°F (0°C) may set false trouble code due to low refrigerant pressure. Temperatures greater than 95°F (35°C) may set false trouble code due to temporary high refrigerant pressure. | |

DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION
SYSTEM SELF-TEST
- Ensure ignition is in OFF position. Press and hold AUTO and fresh/recirculated air buttons. (Схема №1) Turn ignition to ON position while holding buttons.
- All A/C-heater control panel lights and segments will flash on and off. If any lights or segments do not light, an A/C-heater control panel or light fault is indicated. Press AUTO. NOTE: If "0" is displayed, there are no stored fault codes, wait 30 seconds for system self-test to finish.
- Press face vent mode button. This button will allow scrolling through stored DTCs. The A/C-heater control panel will flash 2 digit DTCs. See «DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE IDENTIFICATION»(ref-12062-S36604853462000120700000) table.
- A DTC followed by a beep indicates an active DTC. A DTC not followed by a beep indicates an inactive DTC stored in memory.
CLEARING DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODES
To delete all DTCs, turn ignition to ON position. Press face and "R" (heated rear screen) buttons simultaneously. After checking and correcting all stored fault codes, press PUSH OFF button to restore normal operation with default panel presets. (Схема №1)
DIAGNOSTIC TESTS
Note. Specific circuit and component testing procedures are not available. Manufacturer recommends using Portable Diagnostic Unit (PDU) for circuit and component fault diagnosis.
