1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to «Battery Tray»(ref-311867-S40090891582009040700000) article.
2. Loosen the Transmission Range (TR) sensor.
3. Make sure the J-Gate shift selector is in the "N" position.
4. Using the special tool adjust the TR sensor. Tighten to 10 Nm.
5. Remove the special tool.
6. Install the battery tray. Refer to «Battery Tray»(ref-311867-S40090891582009040700000) article.
7. Make sure the vehicle starts in the "P" and "N" positions and that it does not start in the R, D, 4, 3 and 2 positions, and that the J-Gate shift selector illuminates in all positions.
