Engine Lubrication System

The engine lubrication system is of the force-feed type in which oil is supplied under full pressure to the

  1. Crankshaft main bearings.
  2. Crankshaft thrust main bearing.
  3. Connecting rod bearings.
  4. Valve shims.
  5. Camshaft bearings.
  6. Variable camshaft timing.

All other parts are lubricated by gravity flow or splash of the oil.
