Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) Solenoid
The PCM controls torque converter lock-up by delivering an output signal to TCC solenoid, located on adapter case valve body. see scheme 4 Torque converter lock-up occurs only when all of the following conditions are present
- Engine and transmission are at normal operating temperature.
- Brake pedal is released.
- Transmission is in 2nd, 3rd or 4th gear.
Torque Management Control Signal
The PCM delivers a spark advance output signal during transmission shifting. This reduces engagement shock caused by a change in vehicle speed.
Torque Converter Clutch (TCC) solenoid is located on adapter case valve body. see scheme 4 Component testing information is not available.
