Power is supplied at all times

1. through 15A fuse [No. 52, located in the fuse, fusible link and relay block (J/B)]
2. to audio unit terminal 73
3. to CD auto changer terminal 12
4. through 20A fuse (No. 75, located in the fuse, fusible link and relay box)
5. to BOSE speaker amp. terminal 11 With the ignition switch in the ACC or ON position, power is supplied
6. through 10A fuse [No. 21, located in the fuse block (J/B) No.1]
7. to audio unit terminal 72 and BOSE speaker amp. terminal 34.
8. to CD auto changer terminal 16 Ground is supplied through the case of the audio unit. Ground is also supplied to CD auto changer terminal 15 through body grounds M24 and M114. Ground is also supplied to BOSE speaker amp. terminal 27 through body grounds B217 and B256. Audio unit is connected to BOSE speaker amp. as communication line. When the audio unit is turned to the ON position, audio sound signals are supplied.
9. through audio unit terminals 12, 11
10. to BOSE speaker amp. terminals 5, 6 When the audio unit is turned to the ON position, audio signals are supplied.
11. through terminals 79, 80, 81 and 82 of audio unit
12. to terminals 39, 40, 38 and 41 of the BOSE speaker amp.
13. through terminals 18, 19, 21, 20, 28, 12, 23, 22, 16, 17, 25, 24, 30 and 14 of the BOSE speaker amp.
14. to instrument panel speakers and the front and rear door speakers and woofer terminals 1 and 2 When steering switch pushed ON, signal is sent.
15. from steering switch terminal 2
16. through combination switch (spiral cable) terminals 15 and 7
17. to multi-function switch terminal 7, then
18. to audio unit.

DESCRIPTION

1. Diagnosis function consists of the self-diagnosis mode, and the "CONFIRMATION/ADJUSTMENT" mode.
2. Self-diagnosis mode checks for connection among audio unit, and CD auto changer and analyzes each unit, then displays the results.

1. To start the self-diagnosis mode and to check the diagnosis result, refer to "Self-Diagnosis Mode " for models with navigation system, and "Self-Diagnosis Mode " for vehicles without navigation system.
