Ventilation System: Removal & Installation Infiniti M37 IV

INSTALLATION

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 99

1. Remove instrument side finisher and instrument lower panel. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573601-S33748281932013082200000) ".
2. Remove fixing screw (A), and then disengage fixing metal clips.
3. Remove side ventilator grille (1).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 100

1. Insert a remover tool (A) between upper ventilator grille and instrument panel, and disengage clips. CAUTION: Apply protective tape (B) on the part to protect from damage.
2. Lift up upper ventilator grille toward vehicle upper, pull toward vehicle rear, and lift up again toward vehicle upper.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 101

1. Remove front defroster grilles (1), using remover tool (A). CAUTION: Apply protective tape (B) on the part to protect from damage.
2. Remove sensors from front defroster grilles.

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 102

1. Remove instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573601-S33748281932013082200000) ".
2. Remove tube (2) that is connected to aroma unit (1) and remove clips. (models with forest air conditioning system).
3. Remove fixing screws (B), and then remove ventilator duct (3).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 103

1. Remove instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573601-S33748281932013082200000) ".
2. Remove fixing screws (A), and then remove upper ventilator duct (1).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

REMOVAL

Remove front pillar garnish. Refer to " FRONT PILLAR GARNISH: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION ".

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 104

1. Remove instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573601-S33748281932013082200000) ".
2. Remove fixing pawls (A), and then remove side defroster nozzles (1).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573601-S33748281932013082200000) ".
2. Remove side defroster nozzle. Refer to " «SIDE DEFROSTER NOZZLE: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573636-S10756286622013082200000) ".
3. Remove PCB harness of steering member upper part. Refer to " «EXPLODED VIEW»(ref-573572-S40542413202013082200000) ".
4. Remove fixing screws (A), and then remove front defroster nozzle (1).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Remove fixing pawls, and then remove heater duct (1).

2. Remove harness fixing clip and fixing screws (A), and then remove foot duct LH (1).

Passenger Side

1. Remove A/C unit assembly. Refer to " «HEATER & COOLING UNIT ASSEMBLY: REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573572-S10681242812013082200000) ".
2. Remove fixing screws (A), and then remove foot duct RH (1).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

Scheme 109

1. Remove instrument panel assembly. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573601-S33748281932013082200000) ".
2. Remove rear mode door case fixing screws (A).
3. Disengage fixing pawls, and then remove rear mode door case (1).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove rear console finisher. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573601-S41832748892013082200000) ".
2. Disengage fixing pawls, and then remove rear ventilator grille (1).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

2. Remove fixing screws (A), and then remove console rear reinforcement (1).
3. Remove fixing screws (A), and then remove rear ventilator duct (1).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

2. Remove fixing screws (A), and then separate blower unit and heater & cooling unit assembly.

2. Disconnect blower motor connector (A).
3. Remove fixing screws (B), and then remove blower motor (1).

Install in the reverse order of removal.

1. Remove instrument lower panel RH. Refer to " «REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION»(ref-573601-S33748281932013082200000) ".
2. Remove filter cover, and then remove in-cabin microfilter.

Note the following items, and then install in the reverse order of removal.

Replacement

Replace in-cabin microfilter.

Refer to " IN-CABIN MICROFILTER ".

Affix a caution label inside the glove box when replacing filter.
