- CHECK MIRROR SWITCH FUNCTION Check the operation on "MIR CON SW-UP/DN" and "MIR CON SW-RH/LH" in "DATA MONITOR" mode using CONSULT-III. DATA MONITOR REFERENCE Monitor item Condition MIR CON SW-UP/DN When operating the mirror switch toward the up or down side. : ON Other than the above. : OFF MIR CON SW-RH/LH When operating the mirror switch toward the right or left side. : ON Other than the above. : OFF Is the inspection result normal? - CHECK FUNCTION Turn ignition switch ON. Select "DETENT SW" signal in "Data monitor" mode with CONSULT-III. Check detention switch signal under the following conditions. - CHECK FUNCTION Turn ignition switch ON. Select "DOOR SW-DR" in "Data monitor" mode with CONSULT-III. Check the front door switch (driver side) signal under the following conditions. - CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH (DRIVER SIDE) SIGNAL Turn ignition switch OFF. Disconnect front door switch (driver side) connector. Check signal between front door switch (driver side) connector and ground with oscilloscope. TERMINALS VOLTAGE REFERENCE (+) (-) Voltage (V) (Approx.) Front door switch (driver side) Connector Terminal B16 2 Ground Is the inspection result normal? YES: GO TO 3 . NO: GO TO 2 .
- CHECK FRONT DOOR SWITCH (DRIVER SIDE) CIRCUIT Disconnect BCM connector. Check continuity between BCM connector and front door switch (driver side) connector. TERMINALS CONTINUITY REFERENCE BCM Front door switch (driver side) Continuity Connector Terminal Connector Terminal M123 150 B16 2 Existed Check continuity between BCM connector and ground. TERMINALS CONTINUITY REFERENCE BCM Ground Continuity Connector Terminal M123 150 Not existed Is the inspection result normal? YES: Replace BCM. - CHECK FUNCTION Turn ignition switch ON. Select "SLIDE PULSE" in "Data monitor" mode with CONSULT-III. Check sliding sensor signal under the following conditions.
