Note. To ensure a complete and thorough diagnosis, the battery, starter and generator test segments must be done as a set from start to finish.
TROUBLE DIAGNOSIS WITH BATTERY/STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEM TESTER
For trouble diagnosis using battery/starting/charging system tester (Scheme 1)- (Scheme 2). After performing trouble diagnosis using battery/starting/charging system tester, use the diagnostic result item chart to perform appropriate test and/or repair. See DIAGNOSTIC RESULT ITEM CHART table.

| High Charging Voltage | HIGH CHARGE VOLTAGE |
| Diode Ripple Normal | Diode Ripple Is Okay & Will Also Show Charging Voltage Test Result |
| Excess Ripple Detected | Replace The Generator. Perform Diode Ripple Test Again Using Battery/Starting/Charging System Tester To Confirm Repair |
