  1. Disconnect the negative (-) battery terminal.
  2. Remove the audio unit. Refer to «AUDIO UNIT»(/hyundai/santa-fe/iii-2012-2016/remont/entertainment-systems/#audio-system) .
  3. Separate the heater and A/C control unit (A) from the center fascia after loosening the mounting screws.
  4. Disconnect the connectors (A) and then remove the heater and A/C controller.
  5. Install in the reverse order of removal.

How to read self-diagnostic code After the display panel blinks three times every 0.5 second, the corresponding fault code blinks on the setup temperature display panel every 0.5 second and will show two figures. Codes are displayed in numerical format.
