Ensure ring end gap and side clearance are within specification. See PISTONS, PINS & RINGS SPECIFICATIONS table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS. DO NOT use ring expander to install oil ring side rails. Position ring end gaps around circumference of piston properly before installing. (Scheme 16)
