DISASSEMBLY
- Using a screw driver, remove generator cover. (Scheme 24)
- Remove the brush holder retaining bolts and remove brush holder assembly. (Scheme 25)
- Remove slip ring guide. (Scheme 26)
- Remove the nut, drive pulley and spacer. (Scheme 27)
- Remove the 4 generator housing bolts. (Scheme 28)
- Remove the front housing cover and rotor. (Scheme 29)

REASSEMBLY
- Before the rotor is attached to the rear bracket, insert a wire through the small hole in the rear bracket to lock the brushes into place. see scheme 40 After the rotor has been installed, wire can be removed.
- To complete assembly, reverse disassembly procedures. Tighten all fasteners to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-167604-S09050272022004101800000).
