Note. If you are troubleshooting multiple DTCs, be sure to follow the instructions in B-CAN System Diagnosis Test Mode A (see TROUBLESHOOTING - B-CAN SYSTEM DIAGNOSIS TEST MODE A ).

  1. Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
  2. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and than back to ON (II).
  3. Check for DTCs with the HDS. Is DTC B2625 indicated? YES - Go to step 4 . NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
  4. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  5. Swap the left front corner parking sensor and the right front corner parking sensor.
  6. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  7. Check for DTCs with the HDS. Is DTC B2625 indicated? YES - Go to step 8 . NO - Replace the left front corner parking sensor (see «PARKING AND BACK-UP SENSOR SWITCH TEST/REPLACEMENT»(ref-333635-S17908158862009072100000) ).
  8. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  9. Disconnect the 6P connector from the left front corner parking sensor.
  10. Disconnect the 16P connector from the parking and back-up sensor control unit.
  11. Check for continuity between left front corner parking sensor 6P connector terminals No. 2, No. 4, and No. 6 and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Repair the short to ground in the appropriate wire. • NO - Go to step 12 .
  12. Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
  13. Measure the voltage between left front corner parking sensor 6P connector terminals No. 2, No. 4, and No. 6 and body ground. Is there battery voltage? YES - Repair the short to power in the appropriate wire. • NO - Go to step 14 .
  14. Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
  15. Connect the parking and back-up sensor control unit 16P connector terminals No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 to body ground using jumper wires.
  16. Check for continuity between left front corner parking sensor 6P connector terminals No. 2, No. 4, No. 6 and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Faulty parking and back-up sensor control unit, replace it (see «PARKING AND BACK-UP SENSOR CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST/REPLACEMENT»(ref-333635-S29262428822009072100000) ). • NO - Repair the open in the appropriate wire.
