- Clear the DTCs with the HDS.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0), and than back to ON (II).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS. Is DTC B2625 indicated? YES - Go to step 4 . NO - Intermittent failure, the system is OK at this time.
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Swap the left front corner parking sensor and the right front corner parking sensor.
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Check for DTCs with the HDS. Is DTC B2625 indicated? YES - Go to step 8 . NO - Replace the left front corner parking sensor (see «PARKING AND BACK-UP SENSOR SWITCH TEST/REPLACEMENT»(ref-333635-S17908158862009072100000) ).
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Disconnect the 6P connector from the left front corner parking sensor.
- Disconnect the 16P connector from the parking and back-up sensor control unit.
- Check for continuity between left front corner parking sensor 6P connector terminals No. 2, No. 4, and No. 6 and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Repair the short to ground in the appropriate wire. • NO - Go to step 12 .
- Turn the ignition switch to ON (II).
- Measure the voltage between left front corner parking sensor 6P connector terminals No. 2, No. 4, and No. 6 and body ground. Is there battery voltage? YES - Repair the short to power in the appropriate wire. • NO - Go to step 14 .
- Turn the ignition switch to LOCK (0).
- Connect the parking and back-up sensor control unit 16P connector terminals No. 2, No. 3 and No. 4 to body ground using jumper wires.
- Check for continuity between left front corner parking sensor 6P connector terminals No. 2, No. 4, No. 6 and body ground. Is there continuity? YES - Faulty parking and back-up sensor control unit, replace it (see «PARKING AND BACK-UP SENSOR CONTROL UNIT INPUT TEST/REPLACEMENT»(ref-333635-S29262428822009072100000) ). • NO - Repair the open in the appropriate wire.
