Air Conditioning Clutch Drive Plate Adjustment

  1. Install the clutch plate assembly. Refer to «Air Conditioning Clutch Assembly Replacement (LV3)»(ref-651014-S12120667702014081900000) , «Air Conditioning Clutch Assembly Replacement (L83)»(ref-651014-S00960850562014081900000) .
  2. Measure the air gap between the pulley and the drive plate. Adjust the shims to achieve a 0.4-0.70 mm (0.015-0.028 in) air gap.
  3. Install the clutch plate retaining bolt and tighten to 18 (13 lb ft).
