Inspection
- Inspect cylinder head surface for warpage. Inspect cylinder head manifold seating surfaces for warpage. Replace cylinder head if warpage cannot be corrected by surfacing. See «CYLINDER HEAD»(ref-49003-S20800321702001011500000) table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
- Inspect cylinder block deck surface for warpage. Resurface cylinder block if warpage exceeds specification. See «CYLINDER BLOCK»(ref-49003-S40186560602001011500000) table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
| CAUTION | Install cylinder head gasket with TOP facing away from cylinder block and positioned at crankshaft pulley end of cylinder block. |
