Preliminary Information & Entering Self Diagnostics
The temperature control assembly can detect some system faults occur during normal operation. To operate self-diagnostic function, turn ignition switch to ON position. Press HEAT/FLOOR button. Set blower control to HIGH position. Press COOL and WARM buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds. The display goes blank and blower motor stops, indicating test is underway.
The following codes could be displayed on temperature control panel. If more than one fault is detected, each code is displayed for 2 seconds repeatedly (these codes are not stored). To stop diagnostic mode at any time, press OFF button.
