- D1 CHECK THE POWER WINDOW OPERATION Key in ON position. Check the operation of the power windows. Does one of the power windows operate? Yes : GO to D2 . No : REFER to «GLASS, FRAMES AND MECHANISMS»(ref-233710) for power window diagnosis.
- D2 CHECK THE ROOF OPENING PANEL GLASS OPERATION Open and close the roof opening panel glass. Does the roof opening panel glass operate in at least one direction? Yes : GO to D8 . No : GO to D3 .
- D3 CHECK CIRCUIT 400 (LB/BK) FOR VOLTAGE Key in OFF position. Disconnect: Roof Opening Panel Motor C921. Key in ON position. NOTE: The roof opening panel motor C921 pin 3 and pin 6 are internally spliced together within the roof opening panel jumper harness. Measure the voltage between roof opening panel motor C921 pin 3, circuit 400 (OG), harness side and ground; and between the roof opening panel motor C921 pin 6, circuit 400 (RD), harness side and ground. Are both voltages greater than 10 volts? Yes : GO to D4 . No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- D4 CHECK CIRCUIT 57 (BK) FOR AN OPEN Key in OFF position. Measure the resistance between roof opening panel motor C921 pin 1, circuit 57 (BK), harness side, and ground. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to D5 . No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- D5 CHECK CIRCUIT 691 (DB) FOR A SHORT TO POWER Key in OFF position. Disconnect: Roof Opening Panel Switch C912. Key in ON position. Measure the voltage between roof opening panel switch C912 pin 2, circuit 691 (DB), harness side, and ground. Is voltage present? Yes : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. No : GO to D6 .
- D6 CHECK CIRCUIT 691 (DB) FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Key in OFF position. Measure the resistance between roof opening panel switch C912 pin 2, circuit 691 (DB), harness side, and ground. Is the resistance greater than 10,000 ohms? Yes : GO to D7 . No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- D7 CHECK CIRCUIT 691 (DB) FOR AN OPEN Measure the resistance between roof opening panel switch C912 pin 2, circuit 691 (DB), harness side and roof opening panel motor C921 pin 2, circuit 691 (YE), harness side. Is the resistance less than 5 ohms? Yes : GO to D11 . No : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation.
- D8 CHECK CIRCUIT 333 (YE/RD) AND CIRCUIT 334 (RD/YE) FOR SHORT TO Key in OFF position. Disconnect: Roof Opening Panel Switch C912. Disconnect: Roof Opening Panel Motor C921. Key in ON position. Measure the voltage between roof opening panel switch C912 pin 3, circuit 333 (YE/RD), harness side and ground; and between roof opening panel switch C912 pin 1, circuit 334 (RD/YE), harness side, and ground. Is voltage present? Yes : REPAIR the circuit. TEST the system for normal operation. No : GO to D9 .
- D9 CHECK CIRCUIT 333 (YE/RD) AND CIRCUIT 334 (RD/YE) FOR A SHORT TO GROUND Key in OFF position. Measure the resistance between roof opening panel switch C912 pin 3, circuit 333 (YE/RD), harness side, and ground; and between roof opening panel switch C912 pin 1, circuit 334 (RD/YE), harness side, and ground.
