- Turn ignition off. Disconnect Integrated Control Panel (ICP) 20-pin harness connector C2009. Disconnect Remote Climate Control (RCC) module 26-pin harness connector C228. Measure resistance between ground and IPC harness connector C2009 terminal No. 14 (Tan wire). (Scheme 22) If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Tan wire between RCC module and ICP.
- Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and ICP harness connector C2009 terminal No. 14 (Tan wire). If any voltage exists, repair short to power in Tan wire. If zero volts exists, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Measure resistance of Tan wire between ICP harness connector C2009 terminal No. 14 and RCC harness connector C228 terminal No. 2. see scheme 3and (Scheme 22). If resistance is less than 5 ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open or high resistance in Tan wire. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-62841-S07047853232001011900000). Recheck system operation.
- Measure resistance between ground and ICP harness connector C2009 terminal No. 13 (Light Blue/Pink wire). If resistance is more than 10 k/ohms, go to next step. If resistance is 10 k/ohms or less, repair short to ground in Light Blue/Pink wire. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-62841-S07047853232001011900000). Recheck system operation.
- Turn ignition on. Measure voltage between ground and ICP harness connector C2009 terminal No. 13 (Light Blue/Pink wire). If any voltage exists, repair short to power in Light Blue/Pink wire. If zero volts exists, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Measure resistance of Light Blue/Pink wire between ICP harness connector C2009 terminal No. 13 and RCC module harness connector C228 terminal No. 1. If resistance is less than 5 ohms, replace ICP. Recheck system operation. If resistance is 5 ohms or more, repair open or high resistance in Light Blue/Pink wire. See «WIRING DIAGRAMS»(ref-62841-S07047853232001011900000). Recheck system operation.
