  1. Refer to: «BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)»(ref-566939-S09040044222013071700000) .
  2. Torque: 15 Nm
  3. Disconnect the air inlet door actuator electrical connector, and remove the front air inlet duct retainer.
  4. Install the ratchet, extension and socket as shown in illustration. Remove the upper air inlet duct retainer.
  5. Install the ratchet, extension and socket as shown in illustration. Remove the lower air inlet duct retainer and the air inlet duct.
  6. Release the retaining clip holding the blower motor while an assistant from the passenger side compartment reaches through the blower motor cage and turns the blower motor housing 45 degrees clockwise to release and remove the blower motor.

Installation

  1. With the blower motor on the bench make a reference mark 180 degrees from the labelled TOP on the blower motor to aid in alignment during installation.
  2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.
