Removal and Installation

  1. Disconnect the battery. For additional information, refer to «BATTERY MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-255404) .
  2. Open the glove compartment to the full open position.
  3. Disconnect the GEM electrical connectors.
  4. Remove the GEM.
  5. To install, reverse the removal procedure. Once the GEM is installed, it is necessary to download the module configuration information from the diagnostic tool into the new module. For additional information, refer to «MODULE CONFIGURATION»(ref-255414) .
