Scheme 27: Removal
  1. Remove the wheel knuckle. REFER to «Wheel Knuckle»(ref-517541-S21071114552012121200000) .
  2. Remove and discard the 4 wheel bearing and wheel hub bolts, then separate the wheel bearing and wheel hub assembly from the wheel knuckle.
  3. Clean and inspect the wheel knuckle bearing bore. If the wheel knuckle is cracked, install a new wheel knuckle.
  4. Using a clean shop towel, clean the wheel hub-to-wheel knuckle mating surfaces.

Scheme 28: Installation
  1. Lubricate the wheel hub-to-brake disc surface with anti-seize lubricant before installing the brake disc.
  2. Position the wheel bearing and wheel hub assembly to the wheel knuckle and install 4 new wheel bearing and wheel hub bolts. Tighten to 165 Nm (122 lb-ft) in the sequence shown in illustration.
  3. Install the wheel knuckle. REFER to «Wheel Knuckle»(ref-517541-S21071114552012121200000) .
