- Remove the wheel knuckle. REFER to «Wheel Knuckle»(ref-517541-S21071114552012121200000) .
- Remove and discard the 4 wheel bearing and wheel hub bolts, then separate the wheel bearing and wheel hub assembly from the wheel knuckle.
- Clean and inspect the wheel knuckle bearing bore. If the wheel knuckle is cracked, install a new wheel knuckle.
- Using a clean shop towel, clean the wheel hub-to-wheel knuckle mating surfaces.
Scheme 28
- Lubricate the wheel hub-to-brake disc surface with anti-seize lubricant before installing the brake disc.
- Position the wheel bearing and wheel hub assembly to the wheel knuckle and install 4 new wheel bearing and wheel hub bolts. Tighten to 165 Nm (122 lb-ft) in the sequence shown in illustration.
- Install the wheel knuckle. REFER to «Wheel Knuckle»(ref-517541-S21071114552012121200000) .
