  1. Remove the battery tray. Refer to «BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-569582) .
  2. Apply the specified chemical with a spray can. Penetrating and Lock Lubricant (US); Penetrating Fluid (Canada) XL-1 (US); CXC-51-A (Canada). Special Tool(s): Socket, Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor 303-476 (T94P-9472-A).

  1. Apply the specified lubricant to the specified component. High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant XL-2. Special Tool(s): Socket, Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor 303-476 (T94P-9472-A). Calculate the correct torque wrench setting for the following torque. Refer to the Torque Wrench Adapter Formulas illustration. Tighten to 48 Nm (35 lb-ft).
  2. Install the battery tray. Refer to «BATTERY, MOUNTING AND CABLES»(ref-569582) .

  1. Remove the cowl panel. Refer to «FRONT END BODY PANELS»(ref-569581) .
  2. Disconnect the Type I quick connect coupling. Refer to «FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION»(ref-569597)
  3. Disconnect the Type VI quick connect coupling. Refer to «FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION»(ref-569597) .
  4. Apply the specified chemical with a spray can. Penetrating and Lock Lubricant (US); Penetrating Fluid (Canada) XL-1 (US); CXC-51-A (Canada). Special Tool(s): Socket, Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor 303-476 (T94P-9472-A).

  1. Apply the specified lubricant to the specified component. High Temperature Nickel Anti-Seize Lubricant XL-2. Special Tool(s): Socket, Exhaust Gas Oxygen Sensor 303-476 (T94P-9472-A).   3. Connect the Type I quick connect coupling. Refer to «FUEL SYSTEM - GENERAL INFORMATION»(ref-569597) Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in). Tighten to 5 Nm (44 lb-in).
