Removal and Installation

1. Remove the front door trim panel. For additional information, refer to «INTERIOR TRIM AND ORNAMENTATION»(ref-232240) .
2. Remove the front door sail panel. If equipped, disconnect the speaker electrical connector.
3. Disconnect the exterior mirror electrical connector.
4. Remove the 3 bolts and the exterior mirror. To install, tighten to 4 Nm (35 lb-in).
5. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

1. Remove the exterior mirror glass. For additional information, refer to «EXTERIOR MIRROR GLASS»(ref-232299-S16693930432006051600000) .
2. Remove the 3 exterior mirror motor screws.
3. Disconnect the electrical connector and remove the exterior mirror motor.
4. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Installation

1. If equipped with heated exterior mirrors, connect the electrical connectors to the mirror glass.
2. Position the exterior mirror glass on the exterior mirror motor.
3. Place a hand against the back of the exterior mirror and a hand flat against the exterior mirror glass. Press the glass in place until it is fully seated.

Scheme 11

1. Remove the exterior mirror control switch. Disconnect the electrical connector.
2. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

Removal

1. If equipped, disconnect the auto-dimming rear view mirror electrical connector.
2. Position the mirror in the full up position.
3. Insert a suitable tool between the bottom of the mirror mount and bracket. Push upward on the tool until the mirror mount is released from the bracket.

Scheme 12

1. Place the interior rear view mirror on the windshield bracket.
2. Using the special tool, press the mirror in place until fully seated.
