1. Raise and support vehicle. Place drain pan under transmission. Remove transmission drain plug and drain fluid from transmission. Install transmission drain plug.
2. Add 5 qts. (4.7L) ATF. Start engine and run at idle for five (5) minutes. Shift transmission through all gears during 5 minute time period. Remove transmission drain plug and drain fluid from transmission.
3. Install transmission drain plug and tighten to specification. Add 6 qts. (5.7L) ATF. Start engine and run through all gears. Check fluid and top off as required.

1. Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove floor console. Shift gear shift lever to Drive position on C4DE. Remove position indicator mounting screws and position indicator. Slide lock cover back.
2. Disconnect set button. Slide gear shift lever to adjust position. Connect set button. Slide lock cover to lock set button in place. Install position indicator. Install floor console. Reconnect negative battery cable.

KICKDOWN CABLE

Remove Transmission Range (TR) sensor-to-manual lever retaining nut. Turn manual lever to Neutral position. Loosen bolts securing TR sensor to transaxle. Using Adjuster (T92P-70010-AH), align TR sensor slots. Tighten the TR sensor mounting bolts. Install the manual lever retaining nut and tighten nut to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . Test sensor operation.
