Pinpoint Test C

C1 CD4E Electronic Diagnostics
C2 Check Electrical Signal Operation
C3 Check Continuity Of Solenoid Signal & VPWR Harness Circuits
C4 Check Solenoid/Harness For Shorts To Power & Ground
C5 Solenoid Function Test
C6 Transaxle Drive Test
  1. NOTE: CD4E transaxles built after May 1995 contain high-impedance (12.5-19 ohms) TCC solenoid valve bodies, identified by natural (Beige) solenoid valve body connector. Low-impedance (1-2 ohms) TCC solenoid valve bodies are identified by Black solenoid valve body connector. 1993-95 transaxles may be serviced with either high-impedance or low-impedance TCC solenoid valve bodies. DO NOT use low-impedance solenoid valve bodies on 1996 transaxles.
C7 Check Resistance Of Solenoid
C8 Check Solenoid/harness For Short To Ground
