- On 1.6L models equipped with A/C, remove condenser fan and radiator cooling fan motor assemblies.
- On all models, disconnect exhaust pipe from manifold. Remove exhaust manifold outer heat shield, oxygen sensor, and engine hanger (if equipped) from manifold. Remove manifold bolts, manifold, gasket, and manifold inner heat shield.
Installation
To install, reverse removal procedure. Use new gaskets and exhaust manifold retaining nuts.
