DESCRIPTION & OPERATION
Windshield wiper/washer system has normal wipe (low and high speeds, intermittent wipe, wiper after wash, and mist wipe functions. Wiper functions are selected using multifunction switch located on a stalk mounted on the steering column.
All functions of the wiper/washer system are controlled by the Body Control Module (BCM). BCM is integral with junction block located under left side of instrument panel. (Scheme 1) Wiper/washer system uses intermittent and HI/LO wiper relays located in Power Distribution Center (PDC). PDC is located next to air cleaner cover and Powertrain Control Module (PCM).
