All models use Mitsubishi electronic, breakerless ignition systems with electronic control unit. Colt Turbo and Conquest models are equipped with the Electronic Controlled Injection (ECI) which uses a detonation sensor for more accurate control of ignition timing under detonation (knock) conditions.
