CENTRAL TIMER MODULE PROGRAMMING
Note. This procedure applies to models with anti-theft system.
This procedure requires the use of a scan tool. Using scan tool, select CENTRAL TIMER MODULE. If scan tool displays NO RESPONSE or CCD BUS FAILURE, go to appropriate VEHICLE COMMUNICATIONS article. If scan tool does not display NO RESPONSE or CCD BUS FAILURE, use scan tool to select MISCELLANEOUS, then PROGRAM RKE. Follow scan tool prompts to program transmitter.

Note. This procedure applies to models without anti-theft system.
- Locate Dark Green program enable wire, connected to Data Link Connector (DLC) terminal No. 1. DLC is located under left side of instrument panel, to left of steering column. End of enable wire has a Black rubber cap.
- Connect program enable wire to ground. Turn ignition on. Power door locks will cycle. Depress either button on transmitter. Doors locks will cycle to confirm signal was received. Depress either button on second transmitter if needed. Doors locks will again cycle to confirm signal was received.
- Disconnect enable from ground. Secure wire to harness. Turn ignition off. Verify transmitter(s) operation.
HORN CHIRP ENABLE/DISABLE PROGRAMMING
Turn ignition on, with engine off. Press and hold UNLOCK button for at least 4 seconds. While holding UNLOCK button, press LOCK button, then release both buttons. Horn will chirp once when programming is completed.
