WHEN MONITORED
Monitored continuous when the ignition is on and temperature is above 32 F.
SET CONDITION
This DTC will set if the Occupant Classification Module (OCM) detects raw pressure less than 28 counts for more than 60 seconds with temperature above 32F.
POSSIBLE CAUSES
Possible Causes
---
OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION MODULE (OCM)
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to RESTRAINTS-SYSTEM-PRE-DIAGNOSTIC-PROCEDURE .
While the CAN bus ignition status is IGN_RUN or signal not available.
This DTC will set if the OCM or the scan tool initiated re-zero failed, the system verification routine was aborted or a update option table from the flash routine was incomplete or missing.

For a complete wiring diagram, refer to appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article .
Scheme 81
With the ignition on. The Occupant Classification Module (OCM) on board diagnostics continuously monitors the CAN Bus messages.
The code will set when the Occupant Classification Module (OCM) receives the Body Control Module (BCM) Can Bus message containing the system voltage below 10.0 volts.
Refer to B2199-16-BATTERY VOLTAGE - CIRCUIT VOLTAGE BELOW THRESHOLD and perform the B2199-16-BATTERY VOLTAGE-CIRCUIT VOLTAGE BELOW THRESHOLD diagnostic procedure.
B210B-00-SYSTEM VOLTAGE HIGH
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article .
With the ignition on. The Occupant Classification Module (OCM) on board diagnostics continuously monitors the CAN Bus messages.
The code will set when the Occupant Classification Module (OCM) receives the Body Control Module (BCM) Can Bus message containing the system voltage above 16.0 volts.
Refer to B2199-17-BATTERY VOLTAGE - CIRCUIT VOLTAGE ABOVE THRESHOLD and perform the B2199-17-BATTERY VOLTAGE-CIRCUIT VOLTAGE ABOVE THRESHOLD diagnostic procedure.

Ignition on.
The VIN received via CAN message does not match the VIN stored in the TCM.
Possible Causes
---
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) IS NOT PROGRAMMED PROPERLY
TRANSMISSION CONTROL MODULE (TCM) INSTALLED FROM ANOTHER VEHICLE
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to PRE-DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLESHOOTING PROCEDURE .
While the IGN status is in the RUN position or the signal is not available, while the CAN bus system voltage is between 10 and 16 volts.
This DTC will set if the Occupant Classification Module (OCM) detects an internal failure.
Possible Causes
---
OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION MODULE (OCM)
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to RESTRAINTS-SYSTEM-PRE-DIAGNOSTIC-PROCEDURE .
At ignition on the Occupant Classification Module verifies the configuration parameters.
This DTC will set if the OCM configuration parameters do not match expected values.

PROXI OCM
OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION MODULE (OCM)
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to RESTRAINTS-SYSTEM-PRE-DIAGNOSTIC-PROCEDURE .
B222A-00-VEHICLE LINE MISMATCH
For a complete wiring diagram, refer to appropriate SYSTEM WIRING DIAGRAMS article
During power-up.
This DTC will set if the Vehicle Line information received from the Body Control Module (BCM) is different from the Occupant Classification Module (OCM) stored Vehicle Line Information.
Possible Causes
---
INCORRECT VIN PROGRAMMED INTO THE BCM
OCCUPANT CLASSIFICATION MODULE (OCM)
Always perform the Pre-Diagnostic Troubleshooting procedure before proceeding. Refer to RESTRAINTS-SYSTEM-PRE-DIAGNOSTIC-PROCEDURE .
The OCM checks for serial data message traffic at power up during the initialization process, and continuously through the ignition cycle.
This DTC sets when the OCM fails to detect serial data message traffic for more than 5 seconds. In the event the OCM detects serial data message traffic, this DTC will immediately transition to stored status.
