Foreword
The management of the doors contains
- The locking/unlocking of the front and rear doors
- The locking/unlocking of the tailgate or of the hinged doors (according to equipment)
- Use of the remote control
- Use of the interior opening/closing control
- Activation of the child lock
Control systems for the front doors and the hinged doors
(1) disengageable exterior lock on the driver's door
(2) hinged doors lock disengageable exterior catch
High frequency remote control

NotePressing the locking button if the vehicle is locked for more than 5 seconds permits locating of the vehicle (the direction indicators flash)
NoteA message on the instrument panel ("SERVICE" warning lamp) and on the multifunction screen indicates to the user that the battery is flat when performance deteriorates
(3) central control button
The central control button permits control of the locking/unlocking of the doors and also displaying of the status of the doors
- Flashing of the indicator lamp when the doors are locked when stationary with the engine off
- Fixed lighting of the indicator lamp when the doors are locked and from the time the ignition is switched on
- Indicator lamp off when the doors are unlocked *
Activation of the child lock on the fascia
(4) child safety activation/deactivation button
Activation of the locking/unlocking of the rear doors on the fascia
(5) button for the rear doors
NotePressing permits locking/unlocking of the rear doors. the doors can always be opened from the inside
Door management function display devices
The display devices for locking / unlocking are the following
- Lighting of the interior lamps (location; unlocking; opening of the doors)
- Flashing of the right and left direction indicator lamps on the instrument panel
- Flashing of the direction indicators and exterior lateral lamps
- Message on the multifunction screen when the remote control battery is spent
Defining the doors and tailgate status

| unlocked | the opening of doors and tailgate is possible from the outside and from the inside of the vehicle |
| locked | the opening of doors and tailgate is impossible from the outside of the vehicle |
| door closed | door closed to the second catch of the lock (deadlocking) |
| rebound | immediate unlocking after a locking or deadlocking command (one of the doors is not closed to the second notch) |
| child lock | the rear doors cannot be opened using controls that can be accessed by the rear passengers |
NoteAn audible warning is emitted if one or more doors or the tailgate are opened above 10 km/h (6 mph)
