Concorde, Intrepid, LHS & 300M
Use floor jack under engine jacking point. (Scheme 4) DO NOT raise vehicle using floor jack under axle, body side sill or front suspension. DO NOT use floor jack to raise rear of vehicle.
Talon
Floor jack should only be used under midpoint of centermember (front) or under reinforced jacking bracket located below rear of fuel tank. (Scheme 7)
All Other Models
Floor jack may be used at locations shown in illustrations to raise vehicle. (Scheme 2)- (Scheme 6). Floor jack lifting points are located at center of front crossmember (inboard) and at center of rear axle.

EMERGENCY JACKING
Scissor jack receptacles are located at body sills. DO NOT use floor jack at scissor jack locations, or body damage may occur. Ensure scissor jack flange engages body sill receptacle and locator pin. Always block opposite wheels, and jack on level surface.
BUMPER JACK
| WARNING | DO NOT attempt to raise vehicle with bumper jack. Personal injury and/or vehicle damage could result. |
HOIST
| CAUTION | If removing rear axle, fuel tank, spare tire or liftgate and a single-post hoist is used, anchor vehicle to hoist. To prevent tipping when center of gravity shifts, place jackstands under vehicle or add weight on rear end of vehicle. |
Frame Contact Hoist
Frame contact hoist must be equipped with proper adapters to support vehicle in correct locations. If using swiveling arm hoist, position lifting pads evenly on subframe rails. Hoist must be equipped with proper adapters so vehicle will be supported at marked points. (Scheme 2)- (Scheme 7).
Axle Contact Hoist
DO NOT use axle contact hoist. Damage to independent rear suspension components will occur.
Breeze, Cirrus, 1999 Sebring Convertible & Stratus
- Open hood and mark position of all 4 strut assembly mounting bolts. (Scheme 8) Raise and support vehicle by frame. Loosen strut assembly mounting bolts enough to remove plastic locating pins. Using a punch or pliers, remove and discard locating pins.
- Lightly tighten strut assembly mounting bolts to position as marked. Lower vehicle until vehicle weight is supported by suspension. Bounce vehicle several times and allow suspension to settle. Pull outward or push inward at top of strut assembly as required to obtain specification. Ensure top of strut assembly does not move forward or rearward unless a caster change is needed. Tighten upper strut assembly bolts to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-1216-S28350830662000031300000) table.

1998 Concorde & Intrepid
- 1998 Concorde and Intrepid front camber is preset and is not adjustable. If camber is not within specification, strut and steering knuckle are not bent or otherwise damaged, lower strut bracket bolt hole can be oblonged to size of indentation, or .079" (2 mm) in either direction of bolt hole if strut bracket is not marked. Install lower strut attaching bolts and lightly tighten nut.
- Pull out or push in top of tire until correct camber is obtained. See «WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-1216-S29618214482000031300000) table. While holding bolts stationary, tighten nuts to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-1216-S28350830662000031300000) table.
Neon & 1999 Concorde, Intrepid, LHS & 300M
- Camber is factory preset, but can be adjusted with a camber service kit. Raise and support vehicle. While holding lower strut attaching bolts stationary, loosen attaching nuts. (Scheme 9) Remove upper attaching nut and bolt. Install camber service kit attaching/adjusting bolt and nut. While holding bolt stationary, lightly tighten nut. Repeat procedure for lower attaching nut and bolt.
Avenger, Sebring Coupe, 1998 Sebring Convertible & Talon
Front camber is factory preset and cannot be adjusted. If camber is not within specification, replace or repair bent or broken parts as necessary. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS table.

Breeze, Cirrus, Sebring Convertible & Stratus
Center steering wheel, and lock into place. Adjust rear camber using adjusting screws on forward and rear lateral links on rear suspension. (Scheme 10) Loosen all 4 jam nuts, adjust to specification mainly using rear lateral link adjustment. Some adjustment of forward lateral link will be needed to obtain preferred specification. Adjust forward lateral link to set rear toe to specification. This will cause rear camber to change. Readjust forward and rear lateral link adjusting screws as necessary until camber and toe are set to preferred specification. Tighten lock nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table. Ensure forward and rear lateral link do NOT exceed maximum lengths. See LATERAL LINK MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS table. (Scheme 11) If maximum length is exceeded, replace or repair damaged, bent or broken parts as necessary.

Loosen lateral link jam nuts. Rotate adjustment as required to specification. Ensure lateral link does not exceed maximum lengths. See LATERAL LINK MAXIMUM DIMENSIONS table. Tighten jam nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
Neon
With steering wheel locked, loosen rear lateral link nuts at crossmember. Rotate adjustment cams to set to specification. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS table. Ensure notches on lateral link adjustment cams are facing upward. Tighten nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
Avenger & Sebring Coupe
Loosen control arm eccentric mounting bolt. Turn eccentric cam bolt left or right to set to specification. See WHEEL ALIGNMENT SPECIFICATIONS table. Tighten cam bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
