Thrust Bearing Chevrolet Venture I

  1. With main bearing cap bolts installed and loosely tightened, pry crankshaft rearward to align bearing caps, then push forward to align rear face of thrust main bearing. Tighten main bearing cap bolts to specification. See «TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS»(ref-97376-S22960383202001050300000) .
  2. Measure crankshaft end play. See «CRANKSHAFT, MAIN & CONNECTING ROD BEARINGS»(ref-97376-S36954680232001050300000) table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS.
