REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

| CAUTION | When battery is disconnected, vehicle computer and memory systems may lose memory data. Driveability problems may exist until computer systems have completed a relearn cycle. See COMPUTER RELEARN PROCEDURES article in GENERAL INFORMATION before disconnecting battery. |
Removal & Installation (Left Front)
Remove screw on front of inside door handle, and slide forward. Remove rod from handle and remove handle. Remove outside rearview mirror cover. Remove screw on front side of door pull handle. Remove power window switch. See POWER WINDOW SWITCH . Gently pry door trim and disengage retaining clips. Remove door trim panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Right Front & Rear)
Remove screw on front of inside door handle, and slide forward. Remove rod from handle and remove handle. Remove outside rearview mirror cover (right front). Remove screw on front side of door pull handle. Gently pry door trim and disengage retaining clips. Disconnect power window switch connector. Remove door trim panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Driver's Side Front)
Gently pry front of master power window switch from trim panel. Disconnect electrical connector and remove switch. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Passenger's Side Front & Both Rear)
Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove door trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL . Disconnect front power window lock switch connector. Release 4 plastic retaining clips to remove switch from trim panel. To install, reverse removal procedure.
Removal & Installation (Front)
- Remove door trim panel. See «DOOR TRIM PANEL»(ref-121801-S39930084742001090600000) . Remove water deflector. Lower window completely. Remove screw retaining outer sealing strip and using a flat-blade tool wrapped in tape, gently pry sealing strip from door. Raise window slightly to gain access to 2 window mounting bolts. Remove window mounting bolts and remove window.
- Disconnect power window motor electrical connector. Remove 4 bolts and 3 nuts securing regulator to door. Remove window regulator through large opening in inner door panel.
- To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply multipurpose grease to all lubrication and sliding points. Adjust window mounting bolts so that clearance between top of window and door frame is equal.
Removal & Installation (Rear)
- Remove door trim panel. See «DOOR TRIM PANEL»(ref-121801-S39930084742001090600000) . Lower window completely. Remove water deflector. Move rear side door window run out of center door window guides. Remove center window guide.
- Remove rear side stationary window. Raise window enough to gain access, and remove 2 window mounting screws. Remove window.
- Remove 3 plastic clips on regulator wire harness, and remove power window motor electrical connector from motor. Remove 6 window regulator nuts. Remove window regulator through large opening in inner door panel. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten 6 regulator nuts and 2 window screws.
